Hi all,
Thanks for the compliments-- luckily, they are just a bit premature. :-)
I am advocating that Sun create a position for me in the Sun/AOL Alliance.
The position would be on the Alliance webteam, where I can continue to
work closely with all of you, expand the resources on our web and forums,
build code examples and tours, and help people learn about NetDynamics and
all the related web technologies, tools, and trends that we will soon use.
A few examples are the ND5 tours, PACs, EJB, servlets, JSP, LDAP, XML,
firewalls, security, scaling, searching, JBuilder and Cafe, and web
partnerships with key companies like Borland, Symantec, and Web Yes.
The Sun/AOL Alliance management will need convincing--
because they don't know me, nor you, nor NetDynamics.
If you want to help me help you, now would be the time
for you all to write emails of encouragement that I can
share with the Alliance management and their webteam.
You all have this opportunity right now to make my
case much stronger, and your needs much more visible.
Cheers,
Joel
