Another suggestion.

The problem with the hyperlinks not being selectable is more than
likely to be a problem with the session size. A URL in IE4 has
an upper limit of 1024 characters, whereas in Netscape4 the limit
is around 5000. View the source and check the size of the URL
for the dodgy href. This is often a symptom of lots of Data 
Objects being bound to the page and many page session objects in 
the page.
