Did you find anything informative in the log file? We had similar problems with 
NetDynamics
         4.1.2  release.  The CP's were using up the memory to their peak value and 
not releasing
         it and inturn causing the server to hang. I learnt that earlier versions of 
JDK were
not doing garbage collection efficiently. The problem got solved when we upgraded to 
ND4.1.3 and JDK1.1.7A. Checking the memory usage of the java CP's on your system might 
help you.
