Hi!
We are using Netdynamics 3 with Oracle 8 and I have a question with stored procedures
failing. When ever database schema changes are made, the stored procedures
become
invalid.The Oracle documentation says that when schema changes, and if it
doesnt
affect the dependent objects, there is no need to recompile all the
dependent objects.These
dependent objects ie., procedures, functions, and packages etc., are
recompiled at
run time. But when Netdynamics call these stored procedures that are invalid,
it
does not recompile at run time and throws errors. Can anybody explain why
this is
happening and how to fix it?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
