I thought somebody came up with a slick way to do it in the context of ND4.

But what has worked for me is to declare the field to be static text in the studio,
then playing with the html to generate the
complete html for an ND3-style href, calling a method that expects a string array
(String[] args), with the row number in the
method parentheses such that it is available as args[0] when the method is invoked.
