Except for the fact that we are running on SOlaris we hav ethe same
situation as you. We attempted to separate the projects using different CP
services and diferent partitions but ended up with too many unexplained
crashes and wanted to eliminate the possibility of them interacting with
each other so we created totally different instances of NetD.

SO on the same box we now have three instances of NetD running as different
users. The only snag that I had was with the webservers. For one situation
the Web Servers were on the same box as the NetD servers so needed virtual
IPs. In the other situation the web servers were remote and I needed to
ensure that the ndISAPI.nd file was pointing to the web server cgi-bin
otherwise there was a conflict in the NetDynamics_cgi.properties file.
Please note the ndISAPI.nd file is only a text file that directs where to
look for the NetDynamics_cgi.properties file, this was not well documented.

I hope this helps. If you have more questions feel free to contact me off
the list.

Subject: [ND] Running two server partitions

     Greetings from Ireland,

I've a general question regarding the setting up of ND Application
Server partitions on ONE NT server.

     The scenario:
We have two separate ND projects with different end-user communities.
We want to host both projects on the one NT box but don't want each
one to bring the other down should the need arise to restart the
application server, or due to a project crash. I've read the System
Management and Administration guide for ND4.1.3 but I want to know if
any body out there has done something similar, and if so how? and what
     should we look out for?

     Regards,
        Damian

P.s. We want both projects to use ndISAPI.
