You can also use the command center on your NT workstation, as long
as you copy the .ior files from your unix box to your workstation. If you
want to read the log file (you probably do), you can use Samba to
share the logfile.

Assign a specific port to the locator service before
you do this.

Example command line to clear the log:
$ > netdynDefaultPartition.log

I seem to remember there is a way to export the
log file to text without using the log viewer. If
anyone knows how, please let us know.
