We have implemented the max limit property of text box through JavaScript
validations.
JavaScript code is something like this:
if (document.pgEvent.tbCorrectiveAction.value.length > 400)
{//Check if Corrective Action field exceeds 400 characters
alert("The Corrective Action cannot exceed 400 characters");
document.pgEvent.tbCorrectiveAction.focus();
return false;
}

Has anyone else worked on this.
We had the same problem...
i.e. netdynamics validation does not work for min / max lengths of text
areas.
We had to do custom validation to make it work.
