just an update....
So far with the aid of ND Tech Support the problem has been nailed
down to the Oracle drivers. I am using Oracle 8.0.5 clt/svr and
that is not tested with ND 4.1.3, this can be the potential cause
of the unanswered questions.
In the onSessionExpiringEvent, I can call dataobjects using Oracle
ODBC driver but NOT using native driver (it throws null pointer exception);
elsewhere in the application I can call dataobjects using both
the drivers. Why it is so... still not sure, Tech Support is investigating.
