Currently, we have about 8 Drop down combo boxes in a repeated on a page that could have upto 500 items in each list box. Depending on the grade of an employee we show the different drop down combo Boxes - job classifications. All this data for the combo boxes is pre-loaded in the project. However, now the number of drop down boxes can increase upto 50 on a page. Is it still a good idea to pre-load the data or is there a better way to do this. If any one has any ideas, can you please help us.
