I have a Server problem with ND 4.1.3.8 w Service pack 1 (NT 4.0 Service Pack 3.0)
. After running for a while the Server stops working when I view the Services
in
the Command Center the Locator Service is stopped but not broken.
Trying to start the Service doesn't work and a full restart starts the Services before
the Locator Service but not after. These Services will start if told to
individually
but the Locator service won't. I have to start and stop the Service in the NT
control
panel and then the Command Center. The message reported by ServiceCheck is
the same
as the log message shown below. And Finally ServiceCheck is reporting the
ServiceLocator
going down and outage of all Services but Log and Degbugger even though the
System
is working and green. There is nothing wrong with the ServiceLocator IOR file
or
its location as far as I can tell.
After talking to ND support the suggested upgarding the Server to Service Pack 4.0
as ND 4.1.3.8(Pack 1) needs it. Can any one tell me the problem or did
upgrading
NT solve similiar problems for someone?
