Hello all, We have really pushed the envelope with Java clients on NetD and have had enormous success using Java on the client browser using the SUN Java plug-in on the Win32 platforms. However, we can not seem to get the Java client to work on the Solaris/Netscape browser - which we are using with SUN Java plug-in for Solaris. Has anyone been able to get a Java client working on the Solaris platform? We are getting the following exception thrown when the applet tries to initialize: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError This is documented (from JDK) to be thrown when: "Thrown if the Java Virtual Machine cannot find an appropriate native-language definition of a method declared native." This makes it sound that NetD Java clients were never intended or setup to be run on the Solaris platform. Only Win32. What? This is not very Java-like. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I tried to post to the NetD4 talk forum but the server was apparently down... Regards, Gregory, HHMI Ps - We haven't had much luck on the Mac browser either. FYI, there is no Java plug-in yet for that platform. _________________________________________________________________________ For help in using, subscribing, and unsubscribing to the discussion forums, please go to: http://www.netdynamics.com/support/visitdevfor.html For dire need help, email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
