Sal,
You will have to do multiple things here:
1. get the length of the longest title. For that you could do this:
Select max(length(title)) from <your tablename>
2. Next you have to do some java String manipulation, something like first
create a String(lets say dotStr) of maximum number of dots you will need.
Then you will concatenate to your title a substring of dotStr before
displaying it
Title.concat(dotStr.substring(Title.length()))
Hope this helps.

Subject: [ND] Adding Dots After Value
Hello,
What is the most efficient way to add dots (.) after the value of a
CSpStaticText object in a repeated up to the length of the longest returned
value in that column. Thisis for data in a table.
An example may help clarify:
There are two columns: Title and Price.
These are bound to a dataObject and are in a two cell table. The title cell
in each row should have the title value and then multiple dots (.......) up
to the lenght of the width of the cell as determined by the data returned.
Something like:
TITLE PRICE
Learning ABCs.............................................................
$4.00
Learning to Count.........................................................
$4.00
Some Other Book Title..................................................
$10.00
This is the really long book title that determines cell width $25.00
Thanks in advance,
Sal
