But > what about Netscape , AOL, Oprah and stuff like that Hi Alan, NetDynamics generates good old fashioned HTML, so it is fully compatible with all browsers. For example, I use Opera, Lynx, Mosaic 1, IE 2, Netscape 2, etc. I even have ND projects that send HDML to my phone. If you choose to use more advanced features like forms, frames, JavaScript, and cookies, then you will need suitable browsers; in most cases you can easily provide a graceful fallback to help support older browsers, such as a non-frames version, or a non-JavaScript version. It is well worth noting that simpler web sites are becoming much more important as the web browsers get much lighter and more ubiquituous. For example, my cell phone has a browser, my Palm Pilot has a browser, even my Java ring has a tiny browser-- these are the devices of the near future, and they require much simpler web pages and simpler interfaces.
