I am working on ND 5 with Oracle 8i as the database. We are a team of 3
persons who are working on this project. We are facing this strange problem.
When we run the project, it opens it as desired. This page is having a no.
of submit buttons, and hence each one of them is assigned a particular
event. The problem we are facing is that when a button is clicked (and
hence, an event occurs which has been taken care of), the client side
machine starts using 100% CPU time. On task manager, it shows that the
browser is taking the whole of CPU time. As a result of it, Server also stop
processing of all the events (it slows down, and hence hangs). On task
manager, it shows that the nd_****_SM.e (i forgot complete name) is taking
the whole time.
We are facing this problem since this morning. However, we have not made any
major changes in the prog, especially in the loops.
We have a Windows NT 4 Server with Windows Workstation 4 (SP 5) as client
machines.
Can somebody pls guide us whats the prob. Why it is occuring and how can we
avoid it.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
