Could someone from ND address this SOON - like within a day or so!? Which version should we be going with? If we install a new version of the JDK does it impact our project at all (require a recompile) or anything? thx, - Marilyn -----Original Message----- From: Kaluza, Isabel SLGA [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, November 23, 1999 5:54 PM To: 'ND' Subject: Re: [ND] JDK Y2K Alert Hi What version should we be going to JDK 1.1.17B or JDK 1.1.8? -----Original Message----- From: Joel Parker Henderson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thu, Nov 18, 1999 07:12 PM To: Hoskins, John D. I've heard on this forum that it > appears OK to move these versions of ND to the latest JDK1.1.X The JDK issues are unlikely to show up in normal testing, because the glitches (that I know of) involve leap-year peculiarities on Feb. 29th. This is not unique to Java; I expect leap day problems in many apps. If your company has a Y2K program or plan, I believe it would be prudent to include tests for Feb28-Mar01.
