I have never use the cache feature myself.
Unless you have a huge table, reading the information in once is not going to take
more than a few seconds. So I would suggest clear the cashe at least once every hour.
If the data you need is small (like 2000 people phone info) you may even be able to do
your own caching in memory and clear the cache only when the data have been updated.
