Bola,

One way is to create 2 computed fields each with value:

to_char(<the date column name>, 'dd/mm/yyyy')

in your dataobject and then base your listbox on the computed fields
instead.

Subject: [ND] Date Formatting in a List Box

Hi all

I am tryig to dynamically set the date format of two dates I am getting from
and oracle database to dd/mm/yyyy and populate a list box dynamically with
the new format

The oracle database currently holds dates with the format yyyy-mm-dd
hh.mm.ss

I have tried going into the afterexecutye event of the dataobject being used
and tried to format the date which is very possible

The question is how can one send the newly formatted datat to the list box

Any help would be appreciated greatly
