Hi Ralph,
Personally I feel ND4's way of attaching the object-owner prefix to the
database objects is messy. May be, somebody thought it might be better than
what ND3 used to do - no prefix attached-, and may be it is so in some
situations, but in general I find it has made life a little more difficult.
The good news is that ND4 does a dynamic replacement of the owner-prefix at
run-time. So if you set the Studio user as INV and Runtime user as CAMP -
both properties for the DataSource - it takes care of most situations. There
might be situations where this is not enough, and the best solution may be
to use public synonyms.
Regards,
Aby
