If you do use SQLj you will be by passing the NetDynamics data service and
will loose features like automatic reconnection and logging.

To run SQLj with NetDynamics you need the precompiler and runtime classes
from http://www.sqlj.org
You also need a JDBC driver for the database you wish to connect to.

I think that to a certain extent SQLj reduces the criticality of a
connection pool.  However you may still want some connection management.
