I've asked many times but never really received an answer.
Empirically I'd say that ND 4 is not multithreaded. You need
more DB workers than you have clientsperworker * noofworkers.
(The underlying Oracle Client library OCI is afaik not thread-safe
until Oracle 8.05)
I recommend setting the noofclientsperworker on the RDBMS worker to 1,
but ymmv.
