I had faced a similar problem when I logged into my NT station
with a login Id other than the one used at the installation of ND.
I guess this has something to do with permisions/privileges on some particular files.
As soon as I compile the project, something like "Cache Not Cleared " would appear
and does some error logging.
The other thing which I had noticed is when I tried to open a project in the studio,
I used to get a dialog box with some message like "Do you want to open the
project....... ".
When I logged back with the login Id which I used during ND installation, it works
fine.
