Apologies for posting this in a the wrong forum but I'm rather desperate:(
I am having a major problem with a ND3.12 installation. The system will frequently
return an error when attempting to verify a user login with the security
object.
It is unable to see the database tables(Informix DB) and returns the
following error:
"spider.access.CSpPrivSearchSelect.databaseErrorEvent: execution of the DataObject
'SecurityObject_privSearchSelect' has failed:
spider.access.CSpPrivSearchSelect.System error code is 7 ([VENDORLIB] Vendor Library
Error: Database not selected yet. )
spider.access.CSpPrivSearchSelect.Vendor error#1 code is -349 ()
spider.access.CSpPrivSearchSelect.Vendor error#2 code is 0 ()"
Another frequent error is the following:
"spider.access.CSpPrivSearchSelect.databaseErrorEvent: execution of the DataObject

spider.access.CSpPrivSearchSelect.System error code is 7 ([VENDORLIB] Vendor Library
Error: The specified table (addressee) is not in the database. )
spider.access.CSpPrivSearchSelect.Vendor error#1 code is -206 (ISAM error: no record
found. )
spider.access.CSpPrivSearchSelect.Vendor error#2 code is -111 ()"
These errors are not constant but very frequent and are only solved by doing a restart
of the ND App server. Is there a way to avoid these errors without doing a
complete
reinstall of the application server?
