Thanks for the earlier info. Here's some info for you that might be of interest. 
We worked out that the last version of the SQLSRV32.DLL driver that worked (for us,
 at least) was version 3.6. The 3.7 version that the 2.5 MDAC installs won't perform
 inserts b/c of conflicts with the Rogue Wave software. I got errors like these in
 the log:

([INVALIDPOSITION] Invalid position within RWDBReader operator>>)

Our temporary solution here is to run a (renamed) version 3.6 SQLSVR.dll along with 
the latest 3.7 dll. All seems to work well now until we can get off of the NetDynamics 
platform completely.
