Well, as you might conclude from my domain name, I have some
'philosophical issues' related to proprietary software.  I'll have a 
look at it, but I'm not sure the reasons for using it are sufficient
to convince me.

Well, we have all our patches in CVS (not a kernel source treee).  The
system is called patch-o-matic and even allows you to patch a 2.4.1 kernel
to an up-to-date netfilter subsystem.

And I've missed to commit the latest version of the patch to CVS...
