Dear gianni:

IMO, there's a miss placed [int ,] in the ipt_string.c file of package
iptables_1.2.6a.

Compile error message as bellow:

ipt_string.c:80: macro `max' used with too many (3) args
ipt_string.c: In function `search_sublinear':
ipt_string.c:53: warning: subscript has type `char'
ipt_string.c:78: warning: subscript has type `char'
ipt_string.c:80: parse error before `;'
ipt_string.c:80: `_y' undeclared (first use in this function)
ipt_string.c:80: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
ipt_string.c:80: for each function it appears in.)
make[3]: *** [ipt_string.o] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux/net/ipv4/netfilter'

My System info:

GNU libc 2.1.3
GNU Make version 3.78.1
kernel release 2.4.18

Best Regards

Michael Moore.
