i use linux2.4.13 as our firewall,with some patches of iptables.but we met some problem.the firewall often goes down when the throughput is large. so is this a problem of kernel 2.4.13?or there are some other reasons? and maybe the reason is the throughput is too large so that the firewall can not deal with it.how to solve this kind of problem? i mean when the net is blocked,how to discover it and make the firewall still work? thank you for help.
