I have never heared or read about any of the two extensions.

The core team was not contacted by the respective authors, we've never
been asked to include their code.

Although the GPL would permit us to include code from 3rd parties without
asking them, I still think it is a 'rule of conduct' to include code only
in the case where the original author asks us to include/distribute it.

So my advise for you would be to contact the respective authors and
ask them to ask us for inclusion of their code.

If you think the code is abandonded and/or don't receive a reply by
the original author(s), please contact me again.
