Yes, i RTFM'd, but unfortunately was not Enlightened. Please cc: me as I
am not subscribed to this list (I already subscribe to enuf high
bandwidth lists like the lkml)

Basically, I have a normal fscked setup, w/ a DSL modem connected to a
computer that is currently a webserver and mail server.

I have an internal network w/ one person running off MASQ (but it would
not hurt to have him be be NAT)

I have a statically allocated subnet of 8 ip's (67.36.120.8/29)
and a Class C subnet internally (actually two Class C's, one is
connected only to the DSL modem, the other is connected to the internal
network)

I need a static 1:1 mapping for at least one of the boxes, as both the
computer connected to the DSL modem and one of the ones inside needs to
Web serving, SMTP for receive and send(one is my personal box, and the
other will be an ML server), and FTP (so port forwarding is no-go).

These services cannot be merged into one box. It will not happen. (the
ML server is not mine, I am merely providing bandwidth and space.)

I have read the manual many times, and do not understand it. whereas w/
ipchains I set up MASQ w/ jsut the docs, and can still do it from memory
(iow, i am not a total idiot)

If you would please give me some info or pointers so that I may be
enlightened, it would be much appreciated. (I garnered the assistance of
a BSD guy who didn't understand the documentation in the least,
bewailing the complexity of the Linux system vs the BSD method [this is
not intended to be flamebait])

TIA
