linuxworld ... and I´m new on this list.
I have install a Linux Box, as server in my Home
LAN (all clients are windows) and adsl with 2 nic. I have install REDHAT 7.1 and
I upgrade the kernel to 2.4.17 + NEWNAT patch, without no problems. I make all
configuration more o less the HOWTO's. It's wok well.
I start the newnat modules helpers with INSMOD and

About IPTABLES I am very very lost about it. I'm
only add in my rc.local this two lines:
/sbin/iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o ppp0 -j
MASQUERADE
echo 1 /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
This is my situation now: I can call (only voide I
have not web cam) with netmeeting, so I can talk. But MSN Messenger and ICQ does
not work in voice and file transfer (in one way) I read that new ICQ protocol is
not "friendly", but what about MSN ??? Wath can I do ??? Where can I read some
about it ?? Do you have any ideas ??? I read in Microsoft web that no work
througth the NAT/Firewall server.
