Simple LoadBalancing Q

I have two SMTP server in DMZ,
and from all the tutorial / docs ie read, to apply the simple loadbalancing
it always have to be in range like 2.3.4.5-2.3.4.7

If I had these server in 2.3.4.5 and 2.3.4.7, what is the right command ?
