It means you have received an unexpected packet in eth0.
Packets that come to you from a source not consistent with the routing
statements for an interface are from way out there somewhere, like Mars,
hence martian source.

This might mean some misconfigured computer on your network, or some
user using M$ dial up while connected to your network and having packets
routed through your internal net, etc.

As it is eth0 it might not be your internal net but some neighbour on your
ISP net leaking packets. A good reason to use a firewall.
