Hello everyone,
Here is my situation. I have a windows domain controller on the public
site of my iptable firewall. Behind on the private (filtered) side of the
firewall, I have a windows server. The domain controller has an account for
the new server but I cannot connect (verify the connection to be added to
the domain) to the PDC on the other side of the firewall. I did some
searching and learned that microsoft sends the validation data for a PDC
account in the application layer of the packets. Is there a new module in
the patch-o-matic on iptables that I can add to get this to work. I am
assuming that there needs to be some kind of DNATting going on in the
application layer? Sorry for the mixed criteria. Thanks in advance.
