Dear Netfilters,
After reading all howto's I could imagine and find on netfilter.org, I am still struck
with the following feature/option:
How to add dynamic limit whenever I don't use the (upstream) bandwith? eg:
When I (say ip 192.168.1.3) am NOT using the connection to internet allow other clients
{or even local (filesharing) software or my mailserver software} to take advantage of
the
full bandwith. But not when I am doing something with the connection, so in that
situation
I would prob. want to limit those connections to about 64kpbs/sec.
Can I do this useing some netfilter rules or should this be done using some kit like
ip(2)route? ( or is is iproute2 ?? )
Hope someone out there knows how to deal with this situation...
