Hi, I have already used iptables on a box with ethernet interfaces, but now I have to use it directly under ppp with pppoe. My problem is that the rule rejct seems not to emit the tcp-reset packet. In fact the count increments when a packet hits the rule, just as it should be but no tcp-reset is never emitted.
I have tested this with a 'watch -n 1 iptables -L <usr-chain> -v' and a tcpdump. Could anyone give me soome light ? Florent
