Hi,

I want to create a multiport-list to block access to several ports at the
same time. Last week I've uninstalled the iptables 1.2.3 rpm package from my
Redhat 7.2 System, which runs with the Kernel v2.4.18. I've I parse my
firewall script everything is fine, only the rule with the
multiport-extension produces the following error message:

iptables: match `multiport' v1.2.3 (I'm v1.2.6a).

I know what that means but it's impossible. I've uninstalled the hole 1.2.3
package. I don't like rpm very much, so I've compiled 1.2.6a from the
tarball, during the install this line was printed:

cp extensions/libipt_multiport.so /lib/iptables/iptables/libipt_multiport.so

There you can see the "new" multiport modul or library part (I don't know the
correct name) was installed out of the 1.2.6a package. Is something wrong on
my system or is the multiport modul out of date ?
