And why should people continue to use an older paradigm rather than using a newer one? Are you suggesting that perhaps we should all go back to using ASCII editors instead of word processors?
My response to this is instead of asking everyone else to limit themselves perhaps you should either upgrade your mail reader to one that handles HTML or come to the conclusion that the rest of the world would prefer to live in a richer email environment and learn to live with it. HTML in email is here to stay and, I for one, will not go back.
