In the NetLogo repository, I merged `master` onto `modelruns` and deleted `master`.
This reflects the new reality where we no longer have a single main line of development, but multiple independent lines. under the circumstances, there is no branch that it makes sense to call "master". The default branch on GitHub is now `5.0.x`. That's the branch that new people coming to the NetLogo source code are likeliest to want to browse or build. Afaik the only people the removal/renaming of `master` will have any concrete effect at the moment on are Corey and Nicolas. For the rest of us, it's just a matter of terminology; we should stop saying "master" in reference to the line of development that includes the model runs work, since there is no longer any such branch. I updated the devel wiki in lots of places to reflect the change. -- Seth Tisue | http://tisue.net -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "netlogo-devel" group.
