Hi everybody! I have to write I little "paper" on Industrial Clustering basing on an easy little experiment in Netlogo. The experiment must have firms as agents and universities and resources that can influence firms' decisions (university -> knowledge, resources )
The universities and the resources are fixed, they cannot move. A university has some fields in which is good and the resources are of some types that are needed from the firms. Every firm needs with a % type of knowledge (let's say 3 types of knowledge , the sum of the preferences is 100%, e.g. 30% knowledge1, 30% knowledge 2, 60% knowledge 3) and every university offers let's say 3 kind of knowledge also with %. The same for resources, a firm need some resources with a % and seek to be near to the one she need more. I want to see if clusters appears. This was my idea, the important thing is that I have firms, resources and universities and firms have to move to be better, i really don't know how to go on.. Please if you can write me the code, I've spent days on understanding how the programming language is but i failed miserably..
