In a general sense you are right a gateway is a router -- to handle
NetMeeting calls to behind a firewall a specialized H.323 gateway/gatekeeper
is required. "End points" register with the gatekeeper -- basically
supplying the name they will be known as and their location -- the gateway
uses this information to direct incoming calls to the appropriate station.
