Hi, this draft defines a (very small) meta-schema language that enables various combinations of YANG schemas. In particular, one schema can be embedded as a subschema of another. This would allow for reusing the existing modules such as "ietf-interfaces" in non-root contexts, e.g. as suggested in draft-rtgyangdt-rtgwg-device-model-01.
Such a meta-schema also allows for specifying a schema for anydata content at run time, which could partly alleviate the problems we are facing wing anydata.
