The examples in this document have been revised to use "priorities" to compare the intended configuration, dynamic configuration protocols (e.g. dhcp), and the control plane data stores (e.g. ephemeral). A big thanks to the design team + Joel Halpern for pointing out my error.
My next step is to continue implementing the ephemeral data store in open-source code routing demon (quagga) + netconf/restconf + dhcpd. The applied configuration that combines this information will store information on the source (intended, dhcpd, and ephemeral state) and priority.
