I have not seen much real interest in NMDA, except for the <operational>
datastore.

  - retrieval of operational values of configuration data nodes
  - operational context for invoking YANG actions

These are real issues that NMDA solves, in a way that is quite compatible
with non-NMDA deployment.
The additional datastores (intended, system) seem less compatible and more
architectural than practical.

I hope the immutable flag will work with non-NMDA as well as the current
NMDA.
