Hi, I still support the formation of a design team to review the yang-next issues
https://github.com/netmod-wg/yang-next/issues I mean a team of YANG experts that is willing to prepare for the meeting, not a conf-call with 20 people where only 3 people have bothered to review any issues. The 1.2 vs. 2.0 issue is a 2nd order problem. If any compelling features are found that are worth breaking backward compatibility with YANG 1.1, then maybe 2.0 is worth it, but the goal is that 1.1 will convert automatically to 1.2. None of the feature requests are that compelling, but IMO the community is expecting incremental improvements, and there are plenty of those to consider. The WG should either make an informed decision about yang-next or archive the repo and tell the community there will not be any new version of YANG. Andy
