The Google Toolbar For Mac Petition
Gopple.org launched a petition to put some pressure on Google and Apple to
build a mac compatible google toolbar built into Apple's Safari Browser for
MacOSX. The site explains the advantages and the many features of the
Googlebar: "We understand that Apple's Safari has a Google search box
enabled, however the Toolbar offers more than a simple search." Even with
the latest release of the Toolbar 2.0, it's still only available for
Windows MSIE users.
Thanks to some headlines and articles at macslah.org, macsurfer.com,
webmasterworld.com and various blogs, the petition hit the 1,000 Signatures
mark within one week - however, thats still not enough.
Gopple.org invites all MacUsers to sign the petition and voice their
interest in a Mac friendly Google Toolbar.
