I don't have any benchmarks between the two but I can recall from personal experience that netsniff-ng was able to write all packets to disk when daemonlogger, under similar load, was dropping some of them. Since benchmarks would be nice to have, I'll work on that soon. Also, Doug recently replaced daemonlogger in SecurityOnion with netsniff-ng because of improved performance.
