Yes , but my challenge is that I am using Q_free CVIS wireless DSRC chipset (M5 ATH5K) that they only gave documentation and installation procedure for ubuntu 9.10 Karmic. And I need the devices to operate at 5.9GHZ . I have tried to configure this devices to operate at this frequency but i am now looking for a packet generator and sniff that can give me information on the packet loss, Jitter, RSSI or receive power. So that I can perform V2V channel characterization. Please Do you have any idea of another one that can work with ubuntu. I hope netsniff-ng can work with 802.11 packets? I have installed wireshark in the workstations (Tx and Rx). Please could you advise me on this. Regards
