I like the idea of dropping fractal; it makes ntk unnecessarily buzzwordy. As Eriol says, though, "quantum" isn't quite the same. Sure, it's a shiny word that turns heads, but its use in the documentation is a perfectly valid and common use. Perhaps it should be less emphasized, but I can't say I think removal is necessary. I also support "heirarchic." Straightforward and commonly used and understood, having only one commonly used sense.
