Hello all I find that Netkit is a valuable piece of software. I installed it in my system and tried some of the "labs" samples provided in their web site. It was quite easy to do that.
I want to emulate a mesh network of some 15 systems, provide to each one one or more NIC and for each NIC a point-to-point link towards a neighbor. I'm going to give to each pair of connected systems a couple of IP in a 255.255.255.252 netmask. I'll make sure (manually) that no system has a conflicting IP. Thus, without static routes, each system should be able to talk to its neighbors, but it should be unable to reach the other ones. Then I will try to run netsukuku daemon (the python version) on every system and... pray. What do you think about it? Anyone already tried something similar? --Luca _______________________________________________ Netsukuku mailing list [email protected] http://lists.dyne.org/mailman/listinfo/netsukuku
