Ok.
Anyway, IMHO there is lack of communication.
Can you tell me where am I supposed to know that there is a new branch
of the code (namely networking-abstraction) and what it is supposed to
exist for?
Has anyone talked about it in the ML? Perhaps in the IRC and I wasn't
there, it would be ok, so I asked.

I don't think that there is something "hidden" intentionally.
And, if there were no new code at all, I wouldn't say that the devs
are lazy. It is a free project and I know that if I have time to
donate I could help myself.
But, since there is new code, I ask why there is no written speech
about what it is meant for.

And, finally, I must admit that mine is more curiosity than true
possibility to help. ;P
